CT-MRI combined Scanner -Proposed

Ge Wang et al have proposed a combined CT-MRI.  According to them combined CT-MRI scanner would reduce residual errors, enable simultaneous anatomical and functional imaging, and minimize exposure to ionizing radiation. Although multimodal imaging systems have become increasingly popular, a combined CT-MRI system has not yet been attempted.  They have designed the CT-MRI scanner based on realistic numerical simulation and engineering optimization.

Even though the couple has not confirmed the news, a radiologists’ association has sought an immediate probe into the news, pointing out that finding out the sex of a baby before it is born is illegal in India. Therefore, they said, if reports of the baby are indeed true and the sex is already known to SRK and his kin, then the star must be hauled up for pre-natal sex determination.
